Temporary Transport Pause: April 20th

Dear Supporters,

Our commitment to saving lives remains unwavering. However, to ensure the sustainability of our mission, we've temporarily halted all transports as of April 20th. This decision is part of our ongoing effort to fundraise and secure the resources needed to relaunch our life-saving transport program.

Did you know? In 2023 alone, our transport initiative played a pivotal role in rescuing 1070 animals. This staggering number underscores the impact of our collective efforts.

How You Can Help:

  1. Donate Funds: Every contribution brings us closer to our goal. Donate

  2. Spread the Word: Share our campaign with friends, family, and on social media.

  3. Donate Goods: We welcome items for raffles or auctions to bolster our fundraising efforts.

  4. Volunteer: We need drivers for animals to their out of state rescues on a case by case basis, to become involved in this way, email us.

If you're eager to support our cause and help us get our wheels back on the road, please reach out to us at info@amarillohumane.org.
Your generosity will directly contribute to saving more lives and making a lasting difference in our community.

Thank you for standing by us in this crucial time.

Amarillo-Panhandle Humane Society is a local, foster-based, non-profit organization in Amarillo, Texas. We do not have a facility and rely solely on foster homes to house our animals.

We are not part of the national Humane Society nor are we the City Shelter. We had been housed on-site to the local city shelter for years, but as of August/September 2022 we relocated to our new office.
